Shorter minimum focus distance
Of 0.38 m at 70mm, and 0.8 m at 200mm. Maximum magnification is 0.25x at 70mm, and 0.3x at 200mm.

The internal zoom lets you change focal lengths without needing to rebalance your rig, and balance is maintained if using heavy external accessories. Focus breathing is minimised for more natural-looking transitions.
